About Us

Hi everyone!!! Its Mizunay and Jason here!!! For those who don't know,,, we have a very interesting love story. Started back in February of 2016 and was reignited on February of 2021 and has been a beautiful story since then.

It all started with a swipe... Soul Swipe to be exact lol. We had matched and immediately started to talk. We texted and talked all day in between shifts at work and Miz going back and forth to Penn State for LTA related matters *ahem* but because of this we never got the chance to meet in person. So in the spring at Penn State, there is a big spring tailgate and scrimmage game and I (Miz) brought it up to Jay, jokingly, to come up to meet.... AND HE ACTUALLY CAME!!! Both of us were freaking out on the inside with thoughts that this other person could be a killer, or crazy, or not who they say they are but at that point it was already too late. Thankfully when Jay arrived on the infamous April 16, 2016, it was the complete opposite. The chemistry and instant connection was unmatched, to the point where Miz's friends thought she had a boyfriend the entire time. After a great weekend of fun, we kept talking but life happened to get back in the way and we fell off and eventually Jay left for the military.

Over the years, we would see each other on Snapchat and Instagram, exchange a few quick words but kept moving along with our lives. That was until February 1, 2021 when I (Miz) unintentionally (Jay will say otherwise lol) slide in his DMs. Jay had made some food (that looked delicious, but don't tell him I said that lol) that he had posted and his sneakers were in the picture as well. He asked the world "Idk what looks better, the food or my sneakers" and in good Mizunay fashion I said the sneakers. If in that moment we had known that our lives were going to collide again, I'm sure we would have done it sooner. From that day forward there was no way that we were going to let our connection fade the way it did back in 2016. Since Jay was still stationed at Fort Campbell, we did everything we needed to to make a long distance relationship work. Up all night on Facetime, virtual movie dates, making memories in Nashville and everything in between.

Now here we are, 3 years later ready to start our lives together... who would've thought :)

Matron of Honor

Hi! My name is Gabriela. I have known Mizunay my whole life, as she is my older sister. We have always been close. Like they say having a sister is like having a built in best friend and she is exactly that.

Maid of Honor

I'm Christine (Chirs)! I've had the pleasure of knowing Mizunay for nearly 20 years. When I asked Miz to be my college roommate in the back of Mr. Stein's physics class back in spring 2010, I had no idea that God also sent her to be my best friend, vital organ, and everything in between. We started out as girls in graphic tees in band rehearsal to cheering each other across several graduation stages and walking each other down the aisle. We have witnessed, walked with and at times carried each other through life experiences. This friendship has been many years and passport stamps but the journey is still just beginning!!

Hello! I am Mizunay's sorority linesister. Penn State brought us together in fall 2013. We have so many fond memories together like strolling on campus (Miz was the stroll captain), living together at Casa LTA, and our team flourish days. Miz is my fold queen, my deucey deuce, rock of the line and one of my truest and dearest best friends.

Mizunay and I met over a decade age at Penn State through two, maybe three mutual friends. Since that tome pit friendship has grown, strengthened, and sailed across various oceans together. I'm very blessed and honored to stand next to Mizunay as she and Jay enter the next chapter of their story. I love you friend. Again and again, I'm so happy for you and honored to be a part of your day and journey!!

Hi there!! I've known Mimi since college - 11 years (time flies). Since day 1, Miz has always been an influential sister in my life. Since we've met, she's challenged me in so many ways - *ahem* pledging LTA. She was the pebble in my shoe that I just couldn't shake off, but I'm glad she never shook off because her presence has been a blessing in my life. She's that sister I can always seek for wisdom, encouragement, to straighten me up, but also for love. I feel so blessed to stand next to her as she says "I do" to the love of her life <3 I couldn't think of anyone more deserving.

Hola bebés! Me llamo Vida. One of the best things about attending Penn State was the amazing friendship Mizunay and I developed. I know she was a real one when our friendship continued even after I graduated. Although miles apart Gods plan was always for us to be sorority sisters, line sisters and to our surprise, deuce club!! We dont get to see each other as often as I would like but not a week goes by that we dont talk on the phone. I thank God for the person Mizunay is and the love, protection and grace she has shown me over the last 13 years. Te quiero mucho Miz, más que mi mejor amiga, eres mi hermana!

Hi, I'm Andrew Hall. I'm Jason's oldest brother. me and Jay have had many debates over the years but 1 thing we definitely agree on is out love for basketball. A special memory that I'll always remember is when the Knicks made the playoff in 2021 for the first time in what felt like forever. My daughter, Zuri, was just born and outside just opened back up. I got tickets and Jason joined me even though he's not really a Knicks fan. We had an amazing time and the Knicks won that game. It was the only game we won that series and I'm still convinced that's because me and Jay were in the building.

Hey, what's up. I'm Kevin, the 2nd oldest brother of Jason. My brother's are one of the most important things to me and I cherish all the great times we've had together. Even something as small as going to the park when we were younger, it would be me and Drew vs Jay and Matt. One thing I always remember about Jay is he was so resilient and competitive, I can list off plenty more great qualities of my bro but I don't wanna big his head up too much lol. Love you bro.

Wassup everyone ! I'm Jay's youngest brother Matt..being that we are only 2 years apart we have always been together from being my 2 on 2 partner and sometimes my opponent.. we always pushed each other and he pushed me to want to be the best in basketball so I'll always cherish those times with you! Wishing Miz and Jay the happiest of years and everyone else be ready to turn up :)
